Northwestern Training in Natural Resource Governance

Empowering Women and Youths in Natural Resource Governance and Climate Justice 🌍💪

We’re excited to share the success of our training workshops held in Kasempa and Kalumbila, aimed at building the capacity of women and youth in Natural Resource Governance and Climate Justice.

With support from ActionAid Zambia and funding from the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA), the sessions featured interactive discussions, real-life case studies, and expert-led presentations.

Participants walked away with:
✅ Increased awareness of environmental and governance issues
✅ Advocacy and leadership skills
✅ Tools to monitor environmental impacts
✅ Confidence to engage decision-makers and influence policies

These workshops didn’t just raise awareness—they empowered communities to take action and be part of sustainable change.
